The Art of Storytelling
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie said, “You can't write a script in your mind and then force yourself to follow it. You have to let yourself be.” I've been using my writing as a way to navigate the world and "let myself be" since I first read her words in middle school. The only script I follow is to be authentic, be bold, and be of service.
Advocacy through effective and persuasive communication is where writing feels most meaningful to me. I am working to develop my skills in crafting compelling narratives, creating engaging content, and developing strategic communication plans that resonate with diverse audiences. My goal is to distill complex issues into accessible messages that spark dialogue and mobilize support.
When I'm not writing, I'm usually singing show tunes, engaging in social justice projects, or playing with my dog, Cowboy.
